ExecutiveSummary

Currently,Micro-businesses are known to be the type of businesses that have 0-9employees(Lee,2014). According to data in 2014, UK had approximately five millionmicrobusinesses and this accounted for approximately 96% of allbusinesses and employed more than eight million people. According tothe European Commission’s SME Performance Review in 2013 UK hadvery competitive environment for the small to medium sizedenterprises as compared to the other European Union Member states(Lee, 2014).

InDecember 2013, the UK government came up with a program and a schemeknown as Small Business: GREAT ambition (Lee, 2014). It entailed anumber of measures that were designed to ensure that micro-businesseswould easily expand and grow. In order to cease the opportunitypresented through the government policy and expand business, I willcome up with a business employing four new office and four new salesstaff. The business is known as JavaNet. This paper entails thestrategy to cost that will be implemented and covers how money willbe borrowed and the best way to equip the business with powerfulthough cost effective computing hardware and software.

HardwareFindings and Analysis

Thisarea mainly covers the various hardware that will be used in JavaNet.Four Desktops will be bought at a total cost of $3795.96. Thedesktops that will be used are the Dell Inspiron 5000 SeriesX210501IN8 23 inches desktop PC. These computers have very flawlessfeatures which define its excellence(Kraemer&amp Dedrick, 2001). I would say that this computer has some of theboastful features one can ever get. This new model that we are toacquire as JavaNet is quite fetching.

Designand Display

Thecomputer has a wonderful design with slim black external panels withsome kind of external panels which make them look outstanding. Thekeyboard and the mouse are in black hue something that make it alllook striking. The display of the computer is in HD with theresolution at 1920X1080p (Kraemer &amp Dedrick, 2001).

Thecomputer processor is the Intel Core i3-4150 processor with a speedof 3.50 GHz. Through this the computer is able to perform excellentlywithout any glitches. Thus, all operations are executed with so muchease and reliability. The RAM has a memory capacity of 4 GB with aspeed of 1600 MHz and the type being DDR3L. With high memory speed, the PC functions quickly with no much hitches.

Thecomputer has magnificent audio and connectivity features. The soundquality is amazing given that it has high internal speakers with somedefinition sound. The computer also have connectivity options for USBport, memory slot, audio jacks and HDMI.

It isgood for our tasks execution and is energy conservative. Thus it isideal for us as we focus on production of professional results at theoffice. It is able to make copies, scan and fax up to 20 copies ofdocuments automatically(Kretschmer,2011). Has a built-in wireless 802.11 b/g. additionally, the printercomes with intuitive control panel features, 1-line text display andoften provides instant access to each of the different modes (print, copy, scan or fax). Has 20-sheet output tray extender and 100-sheetmulti-purpose input tray that is able to handle different paper sizesand types. It is made such that it has conventional access to the inkcartridges. Has a Hi-speed USB 2.0 port with a power connection, 1line for fax and an extension line for phone. The price for each ofthe printers is $ 277.7 and will be bought from the Hp shops(Kretschmer, 2011).

SoftwareFindings and Analysis

GeneralPurpose Software

Onegeneral purpose software that will be important is the databases. Thespecific database that will be used in the business is MicrosoftAccess 2010 developed by Microsoft. This is mainly because there arelots of file handling that will occur in the business. It is expectedthat the files available should be properly created, saved andaccessed in built-in manner(Ukar&amp Pratama, 2003).
