CognateSynthesis Incorporating a Christian Worldview
Myfocus is to incorporate social sciences and business cognates in thearea of economics. As a master’s student in automotivemanufacturing, I am aiming at becoming a director of purchasing. Mymain driving force in the field of business and social science isbecause, social sciences requires a person to possess rich religiousand cultural knowledge that I adequately own at the moment. The jobfeels ideal for me because it is in line with my area ofspecialization and it also offers me time to participate in the richcultural society of my society. The social sciences and businesscognates are the easiest to integrate especially for the person thatbusiness minded. When then the cognates of business and socialsciences are combined with the cognates of religion, the ability ofbusiness to advance since religion helps to mold the character of anentrepreneur. The essay, therefore, is going to discuss how thecognates in the area of economics are going to assist me become asuccessful director of purchasing.
Business and social science cognates require that students to limittheir area of specialization in the single discipline while atschool. A good economist who opts to be a director of purchasing issupposed to value all the disciplines that will allow him or her toachieve the goal in the area of business. The book of Colossians 3:23states that "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord andnot for men." I am going, therefore, to dedicate my time andresources towards my studies so as to come up as a good worker whounderstands the ethics surrounding Christianity. I am going to workwith other successful members of the society to keep me moving withthe great desire that I have in life. The Bible in the book ofProverbs 27:17 states that as "Iron sharpens iron, and one mansharpens the other." I have realized that in life you cannotachieve your dreams when you go single-handedly. This is becauseworking in the group assists the members to identify the weakness andstrongholds of others. This, therefore, implies that the weaknesswill be converted to the strengths while the strengths will be takenas the opportunities in life (Brown, 2004)
It is true that the social sciences and the religious studies arerelated. I would like to end up being a director of purchasing due tothe skills that I have gathered in the area of economics. I also havereligious and spiritual knowledge that will guide me through when Iland the position since they will assist in guiding me when facedwith major decision challenges arising in the business. My aim is tocreate some improvements in the firm that I am going to work withfrom the worse condition to the best one (Smith, 2010). I am atalented person, and therefore I focus to use the skills and thetalents that I have in making better the condition of people in thesociety.
The purpose of undertaking social science and the business course isto prepare me to relate well to the customers and other stakeholdersof the business. Social Sciences analyzes the behavior of differentindividuals and therefore studying this kind of a discipline willgive me a competitive advantage over others that we will be competingwith in the same level of business. There are many rewarding andsignificant topics in the study of the character of human beingsabout their behavior, social organization, and their physicalbehavior. This will assist me to understand the needs of differentpeople in the society and, therefore, I will be able to attend to theproblems and the needs of every person effectively. The Bible says inthe book of Mathew 12:35-37 that "A good person produces thebest words from the good heart and the evil person produces wordsthat are evil from his heart (Smith, 2010). In addition, I tell youthis that you must give an account on the day of judgment of everyword that is spoken by an idler. The Bible continues to say that aperson should reflect on his or her fate and either that person willbe justified by them or whether the person will be condemned."
Withthe master`s degree in the field of economics, I feel that I will becapable of driving the will of the society. I do understand thesociety the source of happiness to every individual. I will, therefore, ensure that the members of the society get back the shareof the profits produced by the firm. I will allow the customers thatare not contended with the services offered in the firm to proposethe way they want me to serve them. I will then sample the opinionsand give them the utmost services they require in their life (Brown,2004).

I intend to apply the social scientific knowledge obtained in themaster`s study improve the condition of the business and the livingstandard of individuals in the society. I will do this by helping theneedy people in the society and tell them the reason for the studyand all they are going to benefit from the study and the projectsthat will assist individuals in the society.
