Secondly, it is essential tounderstand the root cause of the problem, before trying to come upwith any form of solution.

The next step after identifying the problem and the concern is toassess the level of difficulty of the problem. This is a step thatensures that the next step’s decisions are made easily (Hinkle,2014). After assessing the difficulty of the situation, it isessential to survey the possible solutions to the mental problem athand. This step will involve coming up with a list of possiblesolutions and selecting the best solution for the situation at hand(Hinkle, 2014). What follows is solving the problem through theapplication of the selected solution. The process of mental healthfacilitation must ensure that the mental well-being of the patient isrestored. It is useful to realize that the solution applied must beculturally acceptable to the patient.
